My life story: when I was young I lived with my family in the Vila do Bispo area. Our owner, a German gentleman, gave us all the freedom and did not raise us as house dogs. Unfortunately, he went away when he got sick and left us on the street. We got into some trouble as we chased and attacked the shepherds’ sheep and were eventually taken to the shelter where we still live because if we stayed where we lived, we would be shot by the shepherds. This happened in 2012 and I still live in the shelter today with my mother, Maité.
My nature: now that I am older I am more level-headed and have been very well behaved. I am shy with people I don’t know very well, but I behave well and the volunteers like to take me and my mom on outings because they say we are very calm. I would like to be adopted by a quiet family that has an outside space for me and my mom to hang out (yes, I would like to stay with my mom because I have always lived with her).
